Devices During Class Policy
Cell phones, iPod/MP3 players, CD Players, Handheld games, and other devices have the potential to disrupt classroom learning. These devices are not to be out or used in any classroom unless given permission by the teacher. If any use of these items without permission by the teacher may result in the item being confiscated by the teacher and turned in to the administration. It can be retrieved at the end of the day the first time. After that, it will be returned to a parent or guardian only.
Consequences for rule violations occurring in the school, on school property, or in conjunction with a school activity will be administered by teachers or referred to administration. Those violations that referred to the administration will be classified in one of two categories that will govern the appropriate consequence. Although consequences are outlined below, the school administration has discretion within outlined consequences.
Level 1 (Non-Safe School Violations)
- Truancy/Excessive Tardies of violation and warning
- Dress Code
- Acceptable Use Policy Violation (including phones etc.)
Possible Consequences for above violations
- Immediate Correction
